my napa valley one day tour
Napa valley in California is a beautiful place in north California to tasting wine, walking around, relaxing, drinking and talking with friends. Napa is so famous for its winery. We went there today with my three friends. four of us together get this Napa valley one day tour.
California sunshine always so shining, coming to US again after one year, I don’t have a lot missing, while it is good time here in August, as we have one day off, so looking for something special, some friends really recommend Napa valley, tasting wine.
What attract me more are the nice views, we have google napa’s view, it looks really great, and we would like to see that in person. when researching what is best way there, we used to check some tours, like there are tour saying $80/pp, or $69/pp, we are not familiar with local tour company, so it is hard for us to decide, later we call the driver who used to drive us from airpoint to hotel, he was very nice when we ask him about the price, he give us some discounts.
when calling the car company they assign a new man receiving us, the car company charges for $55/ hour, as it takes 2hour from where we live in sunnyvale to napa, so it is some expensive for us, we talk with this new nice driver Miachel, he is really helpful, he agrees to make that 5hour drive work other than counting us 7hours if we takes that time.
so that is the deal, we are on the way, 4 of us riding on an very nice lincoln car, some views I have seens in movies. lala..
It is big sun today, and I didn’t expect it is warmer in Napa than sunny vale, so I wear a very thick cloths with me, inside I only take a long sleeves T-shirts, What a day!
Even sunshine, while I can stand, I feel quite warm in Napa.
There are many winery to visit in Napa, so we have to choose some places to go as time limited.
My highlight here are:
1. I forget where it is but the place corresponding there was an office of winery and to the oppsite there are tours for people to know wine, the man named Jerry really a nice man. he introduced us so much about the history and how they process and make the wine.
I strongly recommend him as he was so nice, even we didn't have a time to taste there, while I was really impressed by his knowledging and nice sharing.
2. I can't remember exact name of the place we stop by some small places and there are not so many tourist.
3. Last one we try taste the wine at Sonoma, which they offer cheaper taste and with less people. we have spend $10/p for tasting 6 different flavor, with the knowledge Jerry share with us, we have some sense to taste.
like 5steps:smell, swing, sip, Swallow
it is really enjoy. we also know that red wine is healthier than white wine, white wine usually not that many year, good wine not only depends on years.
when swing there are tiers downs, very interesting.
our driver is so great, he did want to make our day nice and he had lunch quite late and has no complaining at all. he was a nice man.
if you are looking for a nice tour.
1. do enough homework like finding the reviews on where is nice to visit.
2. book car from a trust company I can recommend the company we rent from AAA- Legacy and their driver: Michael #45
their phone is (650)-493-3350, we have used their service from airport to hotel and today's napa valley tour, really great service.
Hope all that help, I really not familiar and can't remember all their name, while it is of course a nice tour.
